Grain Brokers
Grain brokers act as intermediaries, matching buyers and sellers without taking title to the grain. They play a vital role in price discovery and providing growers access to a wider market. AMBA (the Australian Grains Industry) accredits grain brokers nationally.

Growers can sell on a flat cash price, or trade “basis” — the difference between local cash price and the CBOT or ASX futures price. Understanding basis is key to advanced grain marketing.
